Metro Basketball League Registration is Open!

Good Afternoon, Tigers!

The news everyone has been waiting for:

Registration for the 2022-2023 Metro Basketball season is now open!

Here are the details and instructions for the 2022-2023 Metro Season:

Registration Info:

Registration for Metro 2021-2022 will run 17 Aug - 12 Sep (close at 1159 pm).

Registration is open for U10-U18 programs.

Visit the website at https://tricountytigers.ca/and click on the registration portal (middle of the page). For returning members, please verify there have not been any changes in your information. New members can create a profile and proceed with registration.

When your registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation email with waivers and payment details attached. Please be sure to review the payment instructions, as there has been a change in the e-transfer password.

Fees, Payment, and Promo Codes:

The price for Metro this year, including insurance, is $275.

Families with 3 or more children enrolled in TCBA programs can contact the registrar for a multi-child rebate.

PAYMENT: Payment can be made by e-transfer to tigersbball44@gmail.com. Please ensure you include the name of the player and division (i.e. U14 Boys) in the notes and use the password basketball2023.

Example: A. Jones/U14B

Payment Date: Full payment is required by 30 September, unless arrangements are in place or funding is being provided (i.e. KidSport). If payment is not complete by the 30th, players will not be able to participate until the balance has been addressed. This is important, as the association must pay fees to Metro and for insurance, so prompt payment is essential.

This is Metro League (competitive play) only. Jr NBA programming will be announced in the future.

Tri-County Basketball Association is a non-profit organization, offering youth basketball programming in the Municipality of East Hants.

We are committed to providing our young athletes - ages 3 to 18 years old - with high-quality programs that promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun; all while developing technical skills and a love of the game. The Association is further committed to leading the promotion and development of the sport of basketball in the Municipality of East Hants and surrounding areas.

Over 300 players participate in Tigers Basketball programs, ranging from competitive U10-U18 Boys and Girls teams in the Metro Basketball League, to Jr. NBA for ages 5-8, and our Little Tigers sessions for ages 3-5. This offers players the opportunity to develop their talents and grow as athletes, all within their local community.

Tri-County Basketball Association is a member of the Metro Basketball Association, and Basketball Nova Scotia.
